Sad news today from South Florida as Buju Banton is found guilty in his second trial for drug conspiracy charges, which stem from a sting operation carried out in 2009 by DEA agents. No word yet on his sentencing date.

I have mixed emotions on this issue, on one hand Im pretty disappointed that all future Buju verses will be recorded over a prison phone, but at the same time if you live that kind of lifestyle you have to live with the consequences.

Either way, it sucks to be Buju right now.

It has been a rollercoaster couple of weeks for BB, he won the Grammy for Best Reggae Album for his new LP Before the Dawn last week.

Let us not reflect on Bujus current predicament though here he is in happier times.
