A man who police yesterday named as a person of interest in the murders of five men in Portsmouth, St Catherine on Thursday night, has turned himself into the police.
The man, identified only by his alias 'Don Topping', was picked up at his attorney's office by head of the Criminal Investigation Bureau, Superintendent Elan Powell.
He is being represented by attorney Christopher Townsend.
On Thursday night Owen Henry, 39; Kenton Headley, 30; Levil Anderson, 45; Lerrimore Warmington, 56; and a man known only as 'Pazzam', all of St Catherine addresses, were gunned down as they played dominoes at a popular hang out spot in Portsmouth.
Police report that while the men played dominoes two cars drove up and about 10 armed men alighted and opened fire at the group. Killing the five on the spot before escaping.
Homicide investigators suspect that the gunmen were targetting 'Pazzam' who is allegedly a member of the notorious Spanish Town-based Klansman gang.
