QuikCash customers can now send or receive money using JN Money Transfer.
Following JN Money Service's acquisition of the QuikCash brand in September, the company announced recently that QuikCash had been incorporated into its electronic money transfer platform.
The merger allows JN Money Transfer locations in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands to disburse QuikCash transfers and conversely, QuikCash locations in both countries may now disburse funds sent using JN Money Transfer.
"This means that both QuikCash and JN Money Transfer customers may do money-transfer transactions faster, efficiently and more conveniently, using any of the two brands in Jamaica and Cayman," says Gabriel Heron, JNMS Marketing and Business Development Manager.
The new system provides QuikCash customers with access to more benefits. It will increase the number of locations to which QuikCash customers may now send money transfers in Jamaica, the US, the UK and Canada, as well as allow customers to send video messages free of charge via JN Video Transfer when collecting their funds.
"QuikCash customers in Cayman may also purchase mobile-phone talk time, using JN TopUp and send minutes to family and friends in Jamaica or any of our locations overseas," Heron added. Customers in Jamaica may also collect remittances using a JN Money Transfer card which can be used to make withdrawals at ATMs and make purchases at point-of-sale locations.
