Four men who stole several items amounting to $4,000 from a Hi-Lo Food Store, had their bails extended in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Monday and are set to return for sentencing on January 4.

The accused, Okeefe Barton, Tyron Utter, Shane Lewis and Andre Nemhard are charged with simple larceny.

The court heard that on the day of the incident, the accused stole a 200-millilitre Appleton Special, cheese, a chocolate bar and Hershey bars.

A social-enquiry report was also ordered in the matter by Resident Magistrate Georgiana Fraser.
