Gregory Isaacs, Buju Banton, Sly and Robbie and Lee 'Scratch' Perry are among a list of five nominees for the 2010 reggae grammy which was released last night.
Gregory Isaacs, who died recently, has been nominated for his part in the workIsaacs Meets Isaac which was done with King Isaac. Buju Banton has been endorsed for his effort Before The Dawn, while Perry's album Revelations was selected as one of the nominees. Sly and Robbie received two nominations. Their projectMade In Jamaica done with Bob Sinclair and the album One Pop Reggae both got nods from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS) delegates. The other nominee was Andrew Tosh for his project Legacy An Acoustic Tribute To Peter Tosh.
