Since the success of 'Hold Yuh', reggae artiste Gyptian has been gaining more international recognition and now he has a Soul Train nomination under his belt.
The artiste was nominated for Best Reggae Artiste at this year's Soul Train Awards. Gyptian will also be performing live at the awards ceremony which will be taking place on November 10 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia.
The other nominees in the category are Damian Marley, Mr Vegas, Jah Cure, Vybz Kartel and Gramps Morgan.

Among the other nominees are Alicia Keys, Usher, Drake, Monica, Nicki Minaj, Janelle Monae, Erykah Badu and Sade. There will also be live performances from artistes like Ne-Yo, Rick Ross, Keyshia Cole and R. Kelly.
This is the second major award nomination for Gyptian this year, as he has also been nominated for the 2010 MOBO Award in the UK, also for Best Reggae Artist. He will be attending the MOBO Awards tomorrow in Liverpool, England.
