Dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel is still being questioned as he remains in police custody.
The artiste has been at the Greater Portmore (Hundred Man) Police Station since Friday. However, the police would not divulge much information about what he is being questioned about or how investigations are progressing.
Last week, the entertainer turned himself in to the police after he was named among six persons listed by the St Catherine South police as major person of interest. The other persons were Omar Lawrence, Seymour Johnson, Paul Smith, Oneil Myurrie and Damion Perry. The release stated, "The St Catherine South police is asking these major persons of interest to turn themselves in at any police station in Portmore or any police station across the island."
Meanwhile, the vibe in the Portmore Empire seems to be optimistic.
"Him good, man. Him a get weh him fi get. A just him lawyer can see him. Him mek a link pon the outside and seh him good man," a member of the camp told THE STAR.
