DEEJAY Vybz Kartel has again promised to turn himself in to the police.
Having not kept the date to meet with police yesterday, there is word again that the artiste will show up at a station in Portmore today.
The controversial artiste, who is head of the St Catherine-based Portmore Empire, was on Tuesday named by the police as a major person of interest, and was ordered to turn himself in.
Chat! was unable to speak with the deejay, however, he did send a text message in which he continued to question why he was being sought by the authorities.
Jamaica full a too much hypocrite, and they just want to blame me, a part of the text message read.
The deejay maintains that there are moves afoot to tarnish his name.
In an interview Tuesday, Kartel indicated that he was interested in having the Reverend Al Miller take him in to the police. However, the reverend was reportedly locked in a meeting with Prime Minister Bruce Golding yesterday.
Miller was instrumental in the capture by the police of wanted fugitive Christopher Dudus Coke.
