A day after the country's most wanted fugitive, Christopher 'Dudus' Coke was taken into custody by the police, a top level meeting involving key United States officials, members of the Police High Command and Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) was held today in Kingston.
It is believed that the two-hour meeting which started about 9 am was held to discuss issues relating to Coke, who the US Government has accused of drug and gunrunning.
Yesterday Coke was detained on Mandela Highway while en route to the US Embassy.
He was found in the company of Reverend Al Miller who told The Gleaner that he was taking Coke to the US Embassy in Liguanea after the former Tivoli Gardens strongman made the request.
