Lutan Fyah continues to blaze the trail wherever he performs as he did recently on the club scene in Seattle, Washington; Eugene and Portland in Oregon and Los Angeles, California in the United States. He then jetted across the Atlantic for performances in Paris, France. According to his team, these club shows were a resounding success.
The six-date US West Coast shows began March 14 in Seattle at the Nectar Lounge and concluded March 23 at the Arcadia Theatre in California. It is reported at the last show held at the Arcadia Theatre, Lutan Fyah gave a great performance, backed by the five-piece Mexican reggae band Intersol.
The mixed audience rocked and screamed to the sweet sounds of his music has he performed hits like St Jago De La Vega, Mightier Than Dem, Save The Juvenile, Rasta Still De Bout, Season Of Love, Mek It So Hard, Nuh Talk just to name a few. He could do no wrong as the audience was hungry for his music.
In Paris, where he did three shows were at clubs Loridne, Brittany and New Morning, he once again performed to pack venues. At the New Morning, it was like an inferno as there was no room in the capacity full venue.
Backed by Dub Akom Band, Lutan entered the stage 11:15pm belting out anno vex dem vex a jus surprise dem surprise when dem realize Rasta still de Bout. It was pandemonium as the mostly white audience was in a frenzy. I have been coming to France since 2004 and I always get a good reception from the people, they love Lutan Fyah music, he said.
He has since return to the island to continue recording tracks for his new album.
