POLICE were this morning processing a murder scene in the Westchester Housing Scheme in Duncans Pen, St Catherine, where a man was killed on his way to work.

Co-workers of the dead man, who was an employee of a nearby salt factory, identified him as Shamar Elliott of a March Pen Road address.

He was shot multiple times in the head, back and chest while riding his bicycle to work at about 8:00 am.

Onlookers claim his death was a result of the ongoing rivalry between the Klansman and One Orger gangs in the parish.

Police on the scene said Elliots murder followed the brutal killing of a pastor in the community of Backlands in Spanish Town this morning.

They said the pastor was shot in the face at his home at about 5:00 am.
