A 15-year-old boy is now in police custody following the raping of a woman and her teenage daughter in St Catherine on Wednesday.
The boy, who police believe is a serial rapist, was reportedly held after he returned to the woman's house for an item he had left behind after sexually abusing the females.

"He was wearing a cap and left it behind. When he went and retrieved it, he was spotted by an alert individual who alerted the police," a policeman told THE STAR yesterday.
Police say investigations have so far revealed that the troubled teen has been carrying out acts of rape from age 12. "He is now getting more daring in his crime, so it is good we caught him. He was also reporting to the police for a similar case and should not be in the community," the policeman confirmed.
Reports reaching The Star are that on Wednesday about 10 p.m. the police were summoned to the St Catherine community where the mother and daughter live, following the reported rape. Upon the arrival of the police, the teenager was spotted by the lawmen and was held.
Police said that in addition to the sexual offences the youth will also answer to robbery charges.
