Two illegal firearms - a Glock 19 and a Browning 9mm semi-automatic pistol, and two rounds of ammunition were taken from him.
Police said about 8 a.m., they were carrying out operations on the Clarke's Town main road. They reportedly stopped a taxi in which Brown was a passenger. The passengers were searched and Brown was found with the two pistols.
He will be charged by detectives from the Clarke's Town Police Station for breaches of the Firearms Act. However, he is wanted by the Manchester police for a number of offences, including murder and shooting with intent, and is to also be questioned in relation to those offences.
