Singer Jah Cure will be featured on R&B sensation Mary J Blige's latest album titled 'Stronger with Each Tear.'
The two collaborate for the album's lead single, the soft and slow Each Tear. The two were brought together by producerDwayne Chin-Quee,aka Supa Dups, a member of the Black Chiney sound system, and producer of music from the likes of Estelle, Sean Paul, John Legend and Rihanna to Kardinal Officiall, Collie Budz and Pitbull.
Each Tear has also been re-recorded with several different artistes to reflectvariousinternational markets. In Australia and New Zealand the remix features singer-songwriterVanessa Amorosi;in Italy it featuresTiziano Ferro; for the UKJay Sean; for GermanyRea Garvey,and for Canada/U.S.K'naan.This remix with Jah Cure is the Caribbean version of the song.
According to Jah Cure's Manager, Delmar 'Della Danger' Drummond in a release sent to The STAR, "Supa Dups wanted to do a reggae version and he thought Jah Cure was the perfect artiste to team up with Mary J Bilge.Each Tearis one of the best songs on Mary J's album and the fact that Jah Cure can be part of an international effort by her to include international artistes on her music is great."
Jah Cure is also pleased that he got a chance to work with Mary J Blige. He said, "Mary has been one of my favourite artistes from the day I heardReal Lovein 1992. It is a dream come true to be able to work with an artiste of such immense tallent on such a beautiful song. I think the song will connect with my fans and also help me to connect with hers. I am so pleased with how it turned out and I have to give thanks to Supa Dups for making it happen".
Jah Cure is currentlyworking on his next album which will feature a collaboration with Keri Hilson and Pooh Bear calledWorld Cry.
