Another day in the on-going saga that is the life of graffiti artiste turned dancehall / reggae artiste, L.A. Lewis, but this time it has a nasty twist. Today's Jamaica Star newspaper is reporting that deejay / producer Mr. G (formerly known as Goofy), was arrested and charged yesterday with illegal possession of a firearm, robbery with aggravation and unlawful wounding of one Horace Lewis, more popularly known as L.A. Lewis.

Allegations are that both were at a business place on Old Hope Road in the Kingston 6 area, when they had an altercation about money that was said to be owed to Mr. G by Lewis. Mr. G reportedly grabbed Lewis' phone, a Motorola Sidekick said to valued at US$500. Lewis then attempted to retrieve the phone but was allegedly hit on the arm by Mr. G with his licensed firearm. Mr. G reportedly drove off, but later turned up at the Matilda's Corner Police Station where he was arrested and charged.
