Dancehall diva DAngel was in dazzling form at Beenie Sizzle over the weekend, giving an electrifying set that underlined her growth and maturity as a performing artiste.

She hit the stage singing downtown girl which got a roar from the crowd. She was on point in her delivery of First Lady, with female members of the audience singing along. She then asked for her estranged husband, Moses Davis, to join her onstage. Beenie Man, a consummate showman, added to the sexy tension of the moment by hesitating a while before joining her onstage. Together, they performed One Man, with Beenie adlibbing ah Marco Dean yu got which drove the crowd crazy. There was also a cute moment when DAngel bent over in front of Beenie Man invitingly, a gesture to which he declared: b****aught!!! and then just as he moved in to consummate the invitation, she stood up teasingly, but the crowd loved the interplay and cheered on.

She thanked him and he exited the stage. After that, she could do no wrong, closing her set on a high with Caan Stall and Baby Daddy which had the crowd in a tizzy of handwaving and shouts.

Yesterday, she delivered a great set on the Mumbo Jumbo show in Ocho Rios. DAngel has really come into her own as a performer. Anso!
