A man who works as a groundsman at the Hunts Bay Police Station was recently apprehended by the police for allegedly delivering a cellular phone to someone in the police custody.
Clinton Campbell, also known as 'Mandela', was held after a sting operation was conducted on Spanish Town Road, St Andrew.

According to a source from the Hunts Bay Police Station, Campbell told a female that he could get a phone inside a cell for her. It further mentioned that this information was brought to the police where a sting operation was done.
The money was marked and the transaction performed between Campbell and the female whereby he took the sum of $2,000 from her and the cellular phone that was to be delivered.
Campbell was apprehended and the money that was marked by the police found on his person. He appeared before the Corpo-rate Area Resident Magistrate's Court where he was given bail in the sum of $50,000 with a surety. He is to return to court on June 29.
His job function at the Hunts Bay Police Station was to clean the cells and the general compound.
