The mother of the two-year-old boy who drowned in a tank near his home in Madra**, St Ann, on Monday has been charged.

THE STAR understands that 30-year-old Sherine White was charged on Tuesday night with exposing a juvenile to moral harm and danger.

She is booked to appear in the Brown's Town Resident Magistrate's Court later this week.

White was arrested by the police following the discovery of her son's lifeless body on Monday afternoon.

According to reports, the toddler, Demino Davis, drowned after he was left unattended while his mother went to run an errand.
