Popular dancer, Wayne 'Colo Colo' Stewart and his girlfriend were left nursing wounds after being brutally attacked by a group of men during a video shoot.
The incident, which took place on Wednesday night in Half-Way Tree, has left the creator of the 'Rum Ram' dance in great concern.
"Me jus a gwaan whole it ennuh. Right now a jail me waa dem fi go," he said.
It was alleged that Stewart and his girlfriend, Lisa Brown, were taking part in a dance documentary on hip hop and reggae on Half-Way Tree Road on Wednesday night when they were attacked by a group of bus conductors.
Fierce altercation
Stewart said the men approached them and demanded to be in the video shoot that was taking place. However, it was said that a fierce altercation then developed between Stewart's girlfriend and the men.
The men subsequently drove away and later returned with weapons which were used to inflict wounds on Stewart, who managed to escape to the nearby police station.
Stewart said he reported the incident at the Half-Way Tree Police Station and was given a piece of paper by one of the lawmen to receive medical attention at the Kingston Public Hospital, downtown Kingston.
Efforts to contacted the investigating officer proved futile, as the officer was said to be off duty. Stewart said he can remember his attackers and only wants justice.
"Di man dem av me up, me know di whole a dem. A regular dem do things like dat. Mi inna pain and my girlfriend get a buss mouth too," he said.
