Corinthians striker Ronaldo seems like he is back to old habits after staying out late on Thursday evening which led to him missing Friday morning's training session.
Globoesporte.com claims the former Cruzeiro, PSV, Barcelona, Inter, Real Madrid and Milan ace was allowed by coach Mano Menezes to stay out until 11pm, but Ronaldo partied late, and into the early hours of the morning.
As a result, the Brazilian missed training, but the club have tried to play down the situation. Reports suggest Ronaldo skipped the session because he was supposed to have physiotherapy with Bruno Mazziotta this morning. However, witnesses saw the player return to the hotel at dawn.
Menezes has tried to brush the hype under the carpet, claiming Ronaldo had other plans.
"Ronaldo didn't train with the rest of the players because he stayed in the hotel for a scheduled task [physiotheraphy]," the coach is quoted as saying by Globoesporte.com.
The rest of the Corinthians players trained as normal as they prepare for the game against Marilia on Sunday.
Ronaldo is unlikely to feature though as he is not fully fit to make his debut.
