Milan will be involved in a crucial match for the Scudetto on Sunday when they play Inter in the city derby, but they will most likely be without their star Brazilian, Kaka.
Milan are eight points behind the league-leading Nerazzurri, however, a win over their city rivals could reignite their title hopes.
Kaka went down injured in the 1-1 draw with Reggina last Saturday, with initial reports claiming he would miss two weeks of action. However, suggestions yesterday indicated that the 26-year-old could return in time to face Jose Mourinho's side.
Now, according to the Corriere dello Sport, the chances that Kaka will play this Sunday are extremely slim. He was unable to resume training with his team-mates on Wednesday, instead forced to work in the gym.
Kaka is the Rossoneri's top scorer in league play this season, finding the net 11 times. Ronaldinho is his probable replacement in coach Carlo Ancelotti's starting XI.
