ICE shot dead in Kingston 11 Posted on December 26, 2008 by The Citizen's Paper Thirty-six year-old dancer, David Alexander Smith otherwise called Ice of Zenna Avenue, Kingston 11, and creator of the famous dance hall move Gully Creeper, was shot and killed by gunmen at a bar at Newark Avenue, Kingston 11 this morning.
Reports received by the CCN are that about 7:55 a.m., Smith was at the establishment when men armed with guns entered.
The armed hoodlums immediately opened fire hitting him. He died on the spot. The police were alerted, the crime scene processed and the body removed to the morgue for post mortem.
The Half Way Tree Police who are investigating, reported that the Champagne Mitsubishi Lancer motor car registration 7419 EP which was driven by Smith was taken by his attackers.
