Former church Deacon Donovan Jones, who is charged with human trafficking, a case involving a 14-year-old schoolgirl, is to face trial on April 15 next year.
The trial date was set yesterday when Jones, 48, appeared in the Home Circuit Court.
Two of the three male teenagers who were charged jointly with Jones, for the alleged sexual molestation of the girl, have been placed on probation.
Indecent assault
The third teenager was admonished and discharged.
The teenagers were also charged with human trafficking, but in July this year, they pleaded guilty in the Home Circuit Court to indecent assault.
The Crown is alleging that Jones was present in a motor car when the the girl was fondled in April and May 2006 and someone video-recorded the events.
Jones resigned from his position as a deacon after he was arrested and charged.
