JUNCTION, St Elizabeth - Former champions Munro College went on a goal-scoring spree yesterday, flogging BB Coke 12-0 in their ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel daCosta Cup Zone E first-round game at Junction.
The Hopeton Gilchrist-coached Munro rebounded nicely from Saturday's 3-0 loss against arch-rivals STETHS, with Jermaine Samms and Odaine Reid getting hat-tricks and Christopher Wint a brace.
Despite the win, Munro remain third in Zone E with 13 points. Leaders Lacovia (16) beat Balaclava High 1-0 while STETHS (15) swamped Black River 7-1.
St Thomas Technical lost their perfect record in Zone L (b) after drawing 1-1 with Yallahs, while Paul Bogle moved within a point with a 6-1 win rout of Robert Lightbourne.
St Thomas lead the group with 16 points while Paul Bogle improved to 15. Morant Bay scored their second win, edging Seaforth 1-0.

Cornwall won both games against St James, 3-1, last year, but had to settle for a 1-1 draw when they met on September 13.
St James have dominated Zone A this season and lead with 14 points, having scored eight times in their last two outings.
Cornwall were held 0-0 by newcomers Spot Valley on Monday and slipped three points behind the leaders.
Manchester has rode roughshod over Zone F so far this season, scoring 17 points while conceding two and are seven points ahead of today's rival Porus.
