A MUM of two was brutally stabbed to death by another woman after smashing a window, a court heard yesterday.
Rachel Jones, 26, was knifed 14 times as she tried to cycle away after lobbing a missile through the front of a terraced home.
Furious Louise Gardner raced out of the house, hopped into a car driven by a neighbour then hunted her victim down, it was claimed.
Gardner caught up and allegedly plunged a folding knife into Rachels chest three times, piercing her heart.
Her face was also slashed and she was kicked and punched.
Liverpool Crown Court was told Gardner, 26, was having a bath at her mums home in the citys Kensington area when she heard the window shatter and dashed out.
Rachel rode off towards her home in nearby Anfield with Gardner in pursuit.
Prosecutor Stuart Driver QC told the jury Gardner was heard shouting, Im going to kill you.
He told the jury she then got out and attacked Rachel in front of passers-by, including children.
He added: Very few of the witnesses saw a weapon and in their statements you will hear that they thought they saw her punching Rachel.
Mr Driver said Gardner dumped the knife down a drain.
Rachel, whose reason for breaking the window was not explained yesterday, could not be saved by paramedics.
