SNELLVILLE, Ga. -- Police said no charges have been filed in the death of a teenager who was shot and killed by a 12-year-old girl in Snellville. Trevayne R. Cozart of Stone Mountain was shot in the head while visiting a 16-year-old friend Friday night. Police said the 17-year-old Cozart was accidentally shot by the friend's younger sister. He was pronounced dead at Gwinnett Medical center on Saturday.
Gwinnett County Police spokeswoman Cpl. Illana Spellman Spellman said Monday that no charges are planned "at this time." Spellman said a parent of the girl was home at the time but was not in the same room.
