As the buzz picks up on the streets for the Independence Wrap Up event - FACE TO FACE (Sat, Aug 9)- many are fast copping their tickets at The Hilton Kingston Hotel, Derrick Harriot, Rory Kings Texaco (Mary Brown's Corner), Bourne's Texaco (31 Constant Spring Rd), Shimmer, Xtras and Portmore Mall Pharmacy.

The Asylum Night Club has thrown its support behind the event and will open its doors tonight (Friday, August 8, 2008) to host the FACE TO FACE Pre-Party. Admission will only be $700. All the artistes scheduled to be on the show (Trey Songz, Yung Joc, Playaz Circle, Assassin, Spice, Chino, Konshens, Bugle, Leftside aka Dr Evil) will party in fine style with their fans.

Another local establishment to endorse the event is The Record Plaza found in Tropical Plaza will host a meet and greet session for one hour only on Saturday, August 9, 2008 beginning at 1pm and wrapping up at 2pm. Fans are invited to come out early and on their best behaviours to get autographs of the international rap and R&B acts, Trey Songz, Yung Joc and Playaz Circle. Musical juggling will the provided by the upcoming heavyweights Darkcide International and Asylum DJs.

Saturday, August 9, 2008 will climax with these international acts joining our local superstars on stage at the Temple Hall Estate, Stony Hill for captivating and dynamic performances. The very able and popular disc jockeys Arif Cooper, ZJ Liquid, DJ Ice, DJ Sunshine will be on hand to keep the party flowing, spinning the ones and twos of the summer's hottest tunes. The dynamic Nikki Z and veteran Richie B will play hosts for the evening.

Make sure you get your tickets NOW, which are reasonably priced for the convenience of all. General admission is being sold $2000 but will be $2500 at the gate. For those who would like to mingle in the exclusive quarters of the VIP section, $3500 is the cost pre-sold and $4500 at the gate.
