Europe Loving Lady Saw

findImg.php?pic_size=200&table_name=news_img_tab&table_field=img_id&img_id=1660 Dancehall's ace female deejay, Marion "Lady Saw" Hall, is now in the middle of her month-long European tour, and the reviews so far have been great. The artiste and her entourage have been visiting major cities in countries such as France, Germany, Spain, Holland and Denmark, leaving a trail of satisfied fans.

"Saw is one artiste who can always be counted on to charm her audience and her onstage antics add to her vibrant performance. She has a strong fan base in Europe and with every visit, she adds to it", her publicist, Ray Alexander said.

Lady Saw started her series of shows on July 3 in Denmark, and has been rocking Europe with her memorable performances. Her hectic first week schedule included performances at some major reggae concerts including the Roskilde Festival in Kolnon, Germany, on July 4;  July 5 in France at the Eurockennes Festival, then  July 6 in Amsterdam, Holland at Two Sevens Splash.  On July 8, performed in Frankfurt, then the tour moved to Zurich, Switzerland for another event, Moods and then on to Italy for the Rototom Festival, which will have a Dancehall Night for the first time in its history.

Saw re-visited Spain, where she did a show earlier this year, returned to France this week for Toulouse Salle le Ramier, then it's on to Slovakia for the Trencin Pohoda Festival with a return to Switzerland, on July 19, after which she moves on to Belgium on July 20 for the Dour Festival.

Saw recently apologised to her local fans for her absence this year from the premier reggae festival, Sumfest.
The deejay, who is noted for representing well on her overseas engagements, is busy working on an album which will be her first since her release from her VP Records contract.

Lady Saw  recently appeared on one of Hype TV's most popular programmes, Up & Live, where she had a premier of  her new  video 'Belvedere Heights'. She lauded the work put into the video by director Wayne Wade, who also did the video for another of her singles, 'Chat To Mi Back'.

Saw also holds a spot on the Hype TV Top 20 singles chart, with the provocative single 'Sunday To Sunday'  on the Big Ship label.
