DETERMINED Jack Dobson scoured the UK for two years and tracked down his stolen car for sale on eBay.

He recognised the 1964 Land Rover even though it had been resprayed from black to red and had false number plates.

Jack, 27, knew every inch of the rare IIA model he lovingly rebuilt as a teenager. He learned to drive in it, used it throughout his university studies and first job.

Jack, of Bath, Somerset, said: The old girl was a little beaten up, but I recognised her straight away. It was such a surprise Im still over the moon
