The case regarding a Rastafarian man accused of pushing a woman over a 100ft embankment was yesterday put off until August 11 when the matter was called up in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's court yesterday.
Allegations are that the accused, Delroy Stewart had a dispute with a relative of the complainant. During the argument, he reportedly shoved the woman over the edge of the embankment. Although she miraculously survived the fall, the court was told that she is now confined to a wheelchair.
The case is to come back to the courts on August 11.
