Wife Beater' carved into Jacksonville man's chest

 JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Authorities say someone knocked a Jacksonville man unconscious and carved the words "Wife Beater" into his chest.

According to a police report, the 22-year-old naval officer was attacked after he left a bar. When the man woke up in a haze, he lifted his *lo**y shirt and found the phrase scrawled on his stomach.

The man, who was arrested in March on a domestic battery charge, filed a police complaint Monday on the advice of his naval commander.
