Starting July 1st, employees in Florida can bring their firearms to work if they have a concealed weapons permit. The new law states that the gun needs to be locked up in the employee's car and not taken inside the place of work.Guns are still banned from places like schools, prisons, nuclear power plants, or any work place that stores explosives.Florida Governor Charlie Crist supports the law. Some groups oppose the law saying it creates a dangerous workplace.Florida Chamber of Commerce is fighting to get the law thrown out in Federal Court.
