Britney Spears relationship with her mother has turned toxic.

The singer, who once was so close to Lynne Spears that she co-wrote a book with her and gushed that her mom was her best friend, is so furious with the woman that she refused to visit her in the hospital on Mothers Day, according to several reports.

Britney has cut off all communication with her mom, a friend of the 25-year-old singer told the National Enquirer. Shes gone from calling Lynne ten times a day to flat-out refusing to speak to her.

Lynne, 52, was hospitalized in southern California recently when a bout of the flu turned into pneumonia. Spears reportedly is furious with her mother for urging the Oops I Did It Again singer to enter rehab, and didnt call her earlier this month for her birthday, either. The Star is reporting a similar story.

Britney says her mom betrayed her and she refuses to get over it, the source told the Enquirer. When she was told to give her mom a call, Britney said: Im busy, I have my own kids now.

If you had a problem and your mom sent you to rehab, would u blame her? i dont know what else is going on with them becaise quite frankly i think they are all f**ked but sometimes as much as our family piss us off, no matter what most of the time they are always there for us.

By the way, who diagnosed that she had a problem? She was under house arrest for two years then her mom "intervened" and let her get a divorce. Understandably she was heartbroken, cause no woman wants to marry, have two kids then divorce. So she simple went to a few parties and all of a sudden she must go to rehab... my gosh man, give the woman some time to get over her broken heart

Ummm heart broken in what way keisha? I dont follow celebrity news, but from what i heard she was the one who called K-fed while he was in Toronto and told him that she wants a divorce. Personally i think if he mom thought she was going down a destructive path and thought that rehab was the way to go then kudos for her i would rather have a daughter who hates me than a dead one, just MHO.

Well u need to get ur facts straight then missy. This is what happened: her mom and a therapist (oor something like that) had an intervention. where they ambushed her and basically spit out what they wanted her to do or else. After which she texted, not call, but text K-Fed the message that she wanted a divorce and thats when everything went haywire...

where did you girls hear this? I admit i havent been following it up but I hear bits an pieces an none of these stuff.But if I may,I'd like to say Britney should try and work it out with kevin,as crazypickney sed there was some influences that might have took place resulting all of this drama.But you dont just get knocked up twice over somthing that wasnt real in the first place and that you didnt think would last.

Thanks for clearing tthat up, didnt know about the ambush intervention and all that, but at the end of the day alcohol doensnt solve anything and she has 2 kids to think about u know.
