LOCAL authorities were, up to late yesterday, unable to say whether businesses along Knutsford Boulevard in New Kingston will have to keep their doors closed for at least a day as a result of today's visit of the 44th President of the United States Barack Obama.

Located along the strip, one of the major corridors to be blocked off from vehicular access from 5:00 pm today to 5:00 pm tomorrow, are financial institutions, places of entertainment, restaurants, government agencies, and at least three shopping centres.
