A JAMAICAN ATHEIST







A Hardcore Atheists I am, I am an Atheists, a lonely one. Possibly the only one of my kind in my country (JAMAICA). Not far from recently, I've decided to stop using (digestible) terms such as AGNOSTIC, Humanists, and NATURALIST to associate myself. I bluntly told my class peers of about 50 in number directly/indirectly.... look! I don't believe in any Beard man standing on white cloud, neither do I believe in that carpenter who SOME? says, walk on water millenniums ago. I also don't believe people were intelligently design. Upon disclosing these facts, I did not even attempt to give my reasons for rejecting the belief which 99.99% of my country and the entire world believed. Why not? Well, because you cannot convert people to Atheism, only through free thinking and knowledge + a higher IQ and use of logistics. Can one get themselves to path of truth and sound reasoning. I could have went on to answer their main questions or reasons for approving their belief of a deity. I could answer the cosmological question with support of the big bang theory, by saying a star expand and gave birth to the many other bodies out there in cosmos, how they clump together to form larger bodies such as planets, moons etc.. I could even answer the FIRST CAUSE question, by saying if everything needs a begin or cause who started GOD? wouldnt there be an even more super great genius God, who had created the "Christianities God? what about the God who created the God who created the Christian God? and what about the fourth God who created the third God? hmmmm..You see my point there.... my third point to demolish, would be the morality question, I quote "If there's no God, why people do Good then?" Well rhetorically, if youre saying God is the only barrier keeping you from going around raping ladies and killing babies, then youre sick. Seek help now. To conclude this all, you may ask! why is this guy putting God+Religion to the back bench?

Atheists hope for more realistic goals. At best atheists face reality honestly, figure out how it works, and use that knowledge to make a better world. One example is Norman Borlaug. Instead of praying that starving people would be fed, and instead of telling them comforting stories about eternal bliss, Norman got busy. He got a Ph.D. in plant genetics and used his scientific training to figure out how to change plants so they would produce more food per acre. As a result of his work, poor countries can afford to feed more of their population on less land, and Normans crops have saved nearly a billion lives. As an atheist, I have hope that this is the kind of thing humans can achieve if we decide to face reality without fear.





To diclose this, is my Social Death... Skeptics may lurk my premises like ravishing Dogs from hence forth, therefore i'll tell them DOGMA flip your name around you'll see ... and you are too..
