Art is manifested in many forms and is so subjective and relative that who is to say which subjects are more artistic than others?

Certainly creativity and innovation are the children of artistic development, and as such this BMW made completely of bricks as it rests by the road in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province qualifies.

The creation of sculptor, Dai Geng, the car took more than a year of cementing hundreds of bricks blocks together to make.

The artist then carved the bricks into a model of a sporty BMW Z4, which can exceed speeds of 150mph. He is asking £80,000 (more than $US 129,000) for the vehicle in which everything except for the windows is made from brick. This includes even the door hinges that function just like metal ones.

"Only the windows are not made of bricks. Everything else including the tires, the steering wheel, the exhaust pipe and trimmings are made of brick," said Dai proudly.

The brick car was completed about three years ago and is 5 meters long (46 feet), 2.15 meters wide (almost 7 feet), 1.6 meters high (more than 5 feet) and weighs 6.5 tons. Since 2007, the car has been on display in several areas in China.

The artist is hopeful that some wealthy Chinese businessman will buy the car even though it doesn't run and costs more than a real BMW. He hopes it will serve as a most unusual (not to mention very expensive) garden ornament for someone who has a secret money tree growing in his backyard.
