Four years after the release of his sophomore set Gully Sit'n, dancehall artiste Assassin aka Agent Sasco, is getting ready to drop his third opus.
The still untitled project will be released in the summer, and according to a source close to the project, the album will showcase a more mature Assassin. The album is said to contain mostly reggae and lover's rock tunes.

The album will be his final offering for New York-based independent reggae label VP Records. The label released his debut album Infiltration in 2005. His sophomore set Gully Sit'n was released two years later in 2007.
Born Jeffrey Campbell, Assassin began his professional career under the guidance of Penthouse Music's Donovan Germain.
He has earned a string of hits since 2000 with songs like To Make Money, Idiat Ting Dat, Step Pon Dem, Girls Gone Wild, Don't Make We Hold You, Dem a Sissy, Anywhere We Go and No Boring Gal.
Assassin wed his longtime girlfriend Nicole McLaren last week. The couple is expecting their first child around April. Assassin is already the father of a daughter from a previous relationship.
