The three men, including a policeman, who were arrested on Monday following the kidnapping attempt of a 17-year-old boy in St Elizabeth, have not yet been charged.
When THE WEEKEND STAR made checks with the St Elizabeth police yesterday, sources said the men are to face identification parades and are to be quizzed in the presence on their attorneys by the end of the week.
This, in connection to police reports that about 7:30 a.m. on Monday, five armed men went to a house in Kempsham in the parish, and demanded money from the occupants there. They reportedly took a 17-year-old boy from the house and put him in an awaiting car when their demands were not met.
The police were alerted and while searching the area, a white Toyota Corolla motor car with five men aboard was reportedly intercepted.
It was allegedly being driven by the policeman who was subsequently taken into custody along with two of his accomplices. The teenager was also rescued.
The other two men are said to have escaped the police.
