International reggae artiste Buju Banton could spend Christmas in prison, as he has not been able to satisfy the stringent bail conditions, and now, with news that his retrial in Florida has been pushed back until February 11, 2011.

U.S. District Judge James Moody had said Banton's new trial would be in December, but he granted a defense motion to postpone it. Moody set the case for his February trial calendar but did not set a specific date.

Moody declared a mistrial for Banton last month after jurors said they could not reach a verdict.

U.S. District Judge James Moody declared a mistrial after jurors were unable to reach verdict following three days of deliberations. The judge initially stated the retrial would start in December (10) but he granted a motion to postpone it on November 1, 2010.

CAAN SED THAT YET GP, CAUSE HAVING THE MISTRIAL WAS GOOD FOR HIM, A JUST THE HEADACHE FI MEET ALL THE STIPULATIONS OF BAIL PLUS THE IMMIGRATION BOND THING. HOPE HIM CAN GET OUT FI DECEMBER AND SPEND SOME TIME WID FAMILY LIKE HE WANTS.
