A prisoner taken to the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court last Thursday was discovered missing when his case was called up and he could not be found.
When the matter for Andrew Beale, 32, was mentioned, the court waited as an officer went for him at the holding area. However, the officer returned to the court empty-handed, as Beale, who was earlier seen in the holding area, was no longer in custody.
Beale, otherwise called 'Raymond Folkes', 'Wickerman' and 'Liquerman', escaped between 11 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. He is a suspect in a murder case before the court. Beale was arrested last March and was awaiting trial on charges for murder and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
He is of dark complexion, medium build, and is about 170 centimetres or five feet seven inches tall.
