Today I woke with a mission in mind,

Decided to be happy, to declare peace as mine.

I went through my day and yes the hurdles where aligned;

I gracefully walked around them it was easier than to climb.

Wow I had no idea how good this would have went,

Its a beautiful thing when u final learn your own strength.

Woke up this morning and I had a mission in mind,

I was gonna look in the mirror and conquer a fear.

I stood up and tall and let down my hair,

As I looked at myself and I mean I looked long and good,

It hit me, that thing I never understood.

That despite what those around you love to say

Its me alone I lay and wake with every day.

When I went t to bed this evening I felt like a cloud,

I muted all that noise around me that was so heavy and loud.

I simply smiled rolled over and closed my eyes.

Just as I drifted off to sleep,

Felt peace run over me,

How it tasted so sweet.
