A 52-year-old man was electrocuted after he got entangled with the high tension wires of the Jamaica Public Service at his home at Belmont district, Westmoreland, on Saturday.
He has been identified as Carlington Parkinson.
Police told THE STAR that about 3 p.m. Parkinson had climbed a breadfruit tree and was in the process of picking the fruit when he got entangled with the wires.
Police said he sustained major burns and was taken to the Sav-la-Mar Hospital where he died.
