A curfew has been imposed in sections Portmore as of 10:00 am today.

The curfew will remain in place until 10:00 am tomorrow.

The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:

North: Along Newlands Main Road between the tyre shop and Ebanks Close.

South: Along the gully bank between Beverly Flat Road and Ebanks Close using an imaginary line.

East: Along Beverly Flat Road between the gully bank and the bridge in the vicinity of the tyre shop along Newlands Road.

West: Along Ebanks Close using an imaginary line to the gully bank between Portmore Pines Housing Scheme and the Newlands community.

During the hours of the curfew all persons within its boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by the member of the security forces who is in charge of enforcing the curfew.
