Not only is he gradually garnering popularity and respect in the local market, he has brought his own technique and swag to the forefront. Based locally Kaliba exposure wasnt an act of surprise amongst his peer as he constantly divulged his enormous talent amongst them and would exhaust various avenue to get recognition for his talent.
Kaliba born Javon Francis on November 19, 1991, in Kingston, Jamaica was given the name by a friend after he entertained several youths on the streets of Kingston. At the age of 18 he has had little performing experience but his attitude and enormous confidence would lead you to believe otherwise. His musical talent was encouraged by his neighbour who saw the talent and refused to not encourage it. Kaliba favourite musical instrument is the sneer drum which he plays and acoustic guitar.
He is a past student of Mona high School and he believes success isnt a destination its a journey.
He recorded his first song with producer Supa blunt titled here to stay which is being circulated locally and throughout the Caribbean. With his now affiliation with Ryno D Stinga formerly known as Blak Ryno a former member of the Portmore Empire Kaliba talent is now under the guidance of a talented lyricist and experience artist.
Kaliba also known as Javon Francis is working feverishly and relentlessly to ensure that he become one of Jamaicas next top act. With performances at the Almond Town Jamboree 2010 and other appearances recently throughout Jamaica hes promoting his talent and making everyone aware of what he has to offer to the musical sector and also his charitable and sociable endeavours to society.
