Patrons attending this weekend's JN-sponored Jamaica International Invitational track meet (May 1) in Kingston will be in for a treat, with not one, but two entertainment packages that will add to the amazing athletic performances to be experienced.

Before feasting on the main display of spectacular international track and field prowess at 7 p.m., patrons at the Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) sponsored event will be served an appetizer of seasoned and popular acts starting at 4 p.m.; and featuring some of Jamaica and the Caribbean's current chart toppers.

On the line-up are some of Dancehall's best rated artistes like, Konshens, Chino, Laden and I-Octane; while Reggae icon Freddie McGregor and Soca Queen Alison Hinds will sweeten the mix.

To cap the evening's magnificent performances on the track, patrons will be invited to frenzy all night inside the National Arena at the club-themed-after-party, Yush.

"It's going to be the full experience. Spectators will be treated to far more than 'Lightning Bolt' performances on the track but also electrifying entertainment right throughout the evening," discloses JNBS Marketing Executive, Leon Mitchell. "This year's international meet will show yet again why Jamaica is the world leader in sprint and why we are also leaders in entertainment."

The event, which is the seventh staging of the Jamaica International Invitational meet, is set to feature several of the world's finest athletes including the world's fastest man, Jamaica's Usain Bolt; The USA's Tyson Gay; leading American female sprinter Carmelita Jeter; as well as Jamaican Olympic 200 metre Champion, Veronica Campbell- Brown, and a host of other track stars.

Ticket prices are set between $300 for bleachers and to $2,500 grand stand spectators and are available at JNBS branches in Half-Way Tree and Duke Street in downtown Kingston as well as the JN Money Shop on Knutsford Boulevard in New Kingston.

Patrons may also purchase tickets at the Hilton Hotel in New Kingston; the Sports Development Foundation, York Pharmacy in Half-Way Tree and the National Stadium.
