A man who the Old Harbour police said was wanted for breaches of the Firearms Act was captured during an operation in Old Harbour Bay, St Catherine, on Tuesday.

He was identified as Chadwick 'Gussie' Lewis, a 19-year-old man of Old Harbour Bay.

"Lewis is said to be a member of the 'Ants Man Gang' at Terminal Road in Old Harbour Bay," Detective Sergeant Carey Duncan said.

Duncan told THE STAR that another member of the gang, Devon Simpson, is being sought for gun-related crimes in Old Harbour and its environs.

The police said Simpson is wanted for shooting with intent along Terminal Road in August last year, when a police vehicle was shot up and a policeman injured.

An appeal is being made for persons to call 983-2255 to assist the police in their investigation.
