The police in St. James say they have recovered a hit list which was in the possession of one of two wanted men they killed Thursday night.
The man killed is Richard Lawn also known as Richie Blacks whom the police say engaged them in a shootout in the Rosemount area Thursday. According to Commanding Officer for St. James Merrick Watson, a hit list containing the names of four police officers and 32 civilians was taken from Blacks.
Superintendent Watson added that they are combing the list in order to quickly identify those persons on it.
He said a 9mm Berreta pistol was taken from Blacks who was said to be a major player in the Stone Crusher gang.
The Commanding officer says every stone is being turned to rid the parish of the spiraling criminality.
Earlier Friday morning another wanted man, Anthony Christie also known as Boalo was killed by the police at his home in Bottom Pen where he was an area leader.
