Man arrested after attempting to bail brother

A man who claimed to be an employee of Kingston Wharves was arrested at the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court office after he went there with fake documents to bail his brother.

He is Rohan Facey, 45, of 7th Street, Greenwich Town, Kingston.

The WEEKEND Star was told that about 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Facey went to the court office.

Facey was to stand as a surety for his brother Andrew, who was offered $500,000 bail for breaches of the Firearms Act.

He presented his documents and upon inspection, it was observed that one of the documents was fictitious. The police were called and following investigations Facey was charged with uttering forged documents and conspiracy by Detective Corporal Kirk Roache.

Facey is scheduled to appear in the Spanish Town RM Court on Tuesday.
