The relationship between the estranged LA Lewis and his label mates at the Rainbow Castle Production including his manager Sonia Henry have been strained lately, especially as it seems he is withholding proceeds from revenue streams established through their hard work. One of those revenue streams reportedly involves a documentary on LA Lewis' life by an overseas company.
In a press release sent to one876, Ms. Henry cited Lewis' illusion that he was the flagship artiste of the orgnisation.
"He is not a team player and he disagrees with everyone signed to Rainbow Castle Production. Whenever the team goes to an event he introduces the others as "his young artistes"," she said, clearly amused.
The release alleges that LA Lewis frequently goes behind management's back and books shows for himself.
"When he does not show up, it looks bad for Rainbow Castle Production. Whenenever management contact promoters, they are often told to talk to LA Lewis about that," she said.
She said that he picks a fight with her on a daily basis whenever he turns up at the Rainbow Castle Production base.
"It is constant drama and chaos.I have undergone mental stress just working with LA Lewis by way of his verbal abusiveness towards me," she said.
She said that he constantly complains that she is not working hard enogh to get him booked for shows.
"And whenever other artistes from the camp are booked for shows, he will say things like "I'm only trying to get the other artistes booked for appearances", namely my son Shotty Pooh," she said.
She said that LA Lewis' selling power in the marketplace has diminished since his embar****ing defeat at the hands of Mr. G at this year's The Settlement.
There were some unconfirmed shows that were cancelled immediately after the show deemed "The settlement", Ms. Henry said.
"The promoter's reasons were poor performance by LA Lewis and bad press coverage. They were not willing to take a chance with LA Lewis after the fiasco at "The Settlement"," she said soberly.
The release alleges that management saw stories in the press about a documentary being filmed about LA Lewis which they were not made aware of, when confronted in a meeting about it, he would argue, giving no one in authority a chance to speak and even told management that they would soon receive the legal papers. To thisdate nothing has been brought forward. LA Lewis though confronted several times about projects he does on his own he continues to do "side contracts".
