Mikey Pelpa memorial for Waterford this Sunday

There will be a memorial service for the life of artiste and community leader Mikey Pelpa in Waterford, St. Catherine this Sunday. The singjay, whose real name was Michael Augustus Lynch, reportedly drowned almost two months ago in a failed attempt to reach the USA. Lynch was among a group of men who took a boat from The Bahamas and tried to enter the United States, however, when the boat was intercepted by the US Coast Guard, the men reportedly jumped from the boat in a bid to escape, and Lynch got into difficulties and drowned.

"Push A Yute productions sends condolences to the family of Michael Lynch aka Mikey Pelpa.. We have just released his latest single SYSTEM LIFE, which is on the SYSTEM RIDDIM album which was produced by Push A Yute and executive produced by me, Vivian Thomas. His memorial and funeral will be kept in Waterford his home community this Sunday the 21st of March," Thomas, head of Push a Yute Productions, told one876entertainment.com. Mikey Pelpa is known for singles such as Mama Don't Worry at All and 'Wah Kinda Livity is This?'
